10PR A/W Press day
We opened our doors and welcomed the press for our A/W’12 press day on the 19th April. It featured some of our clients including Remus Uomo, minimum, Scholl, Celliana, Astrid & Miyu, Leo Joseph and Wolverine. Doors opened at 9am in the plush venue No.5 Cavendish Square.
Despite the waterfall outside due to the time of the year best known for its April showers the venue was filled with Magazine editors, journalists, bloggers and stylists stopping by for some Tea and Croissants.

Sports Luxe
With the 2012 London Olympics looming the fashion designers of the world united to deliver their versions of the biggest trend of the year – a clean cut, modern and sporty style. From Stella McCartney to Victoria Beckham to Lanvin, the air of athleticism was everywhere.
It could not be simpler to score the winning look as long as you stick to performance fabrics in a simple colour palette and capitalise on your feminine shape. For the most luxe of sportswear looks think soft pants, sporty mesh, tailored tops and asymmetrical necklines.

10PR hit Berlin for Bread and Butter 2010
Last week saw the world’s fashion crowd descend onto Berlin Tempelhof for this summer’s Bread and Butter and what a show it was…
Boxfresh were showcasing (as well as showing off deservedly so) their amazing new SS12 collection to the hoards of international buyers milling around the Boxfresh stand. The look is cleaner, sleeker with a heritage feel of the original Boxfresh identity which is all down to the work of their new creative in-house designer Gavin Skelton.
And it wasn’t just the buyers that were coveting the latest pieces, the Press that popped down; including Shortlist, Vice, Notion and Art Rocker were also equally impressed with the offering on show.
You didn’t have to look for long to spot a pair of Wolverine boots on many a foot of the male fashion crowd. This year the pride of the stand was the new limited edition 721 Wolverine boot and with only 50 pairs on offer it was a case of get it quick before it’s gone! Not to mention we came back with a notebook full of orders from the Press, eager to get their hands on a pair from the new collection.
Our favourite on the Scandinavian fashion scene and the new one to watch; minimum This men’s and women’s Danish brand not only offers all your must have wardrobe staples but is so reasonably priced without sacrificing on quality. ‘Bang on’ was the buzz words coming out of the buyers’ mouths on the minimum stand this season… enough said!

10PR Opens its Doors!
So looking back to the 10.10.10 when 10PR officially joined the world of PR companies, so to speak, and it really has been a crazy action packed last four months.
2011 started with a trip across the waters to Berlin for the Bread and Butter trade show where 2 of our favourite menswear brands Wolverine Footwear and minimum clothing were both showcasing their exciting AW11 collections to the world’s top buyers. It was a great show with a real buzz to it, so much so that even our bunk beds and youth hostel and the hordes of French Exchange students running up and down the corridors at the end of the night couldn’t put a dampener on it (and they say the world of Fashion PR is glamorous!)

Next came a trip up to Manchester to meet the man himself; Rio Ferdinand to discuss all the exciting developments and plans for his footwear range – FIVE by Rio Ferdinand which was followed by a subsequent visit to Liverpool for a more in depth brief on future plans for the brand, (though the less said about our drive up the better after a slight run in with a very bad Romanian lorry driver on the M1)

Oh then came a country day retreat to Buckinghamshire to visit the Vana Trust farm and talk further about the new online boutique that will soon be launching. In fact that drive proved a bit troublesome too after a flat tyre and a mayday call to the locals who very kindly dug out the requisite tools to help us change the offending tyre in question. We arrived in not such a glamorous state covered in grease but the Vana team were just lovely and really do do such great work raising money to help disadvantaged adults in children in Zimbabwe. Jenna and I were even priveleged enough to have 2 chickens named after us…
Then we ventured off to Milton Keynes for a photoshoot for the iVana Boutique and went in hunt of those concrete cows… luckily there were no driving incidents on that occasion (are you getting the sense of a recurring theme)
Now we have moved into our new office in Fulham and I have taken to walking as my mode of transport (much safer indeed!), after a mad dash around Ikea and a late night of DIY we are now settled in to the official headquarters of 10PR.
Our ethos when we started out was to always work with brands whose collections we believed in and boy are we lucky to be working with a great selection of men’s and women’s clients now. It was most definitely meant to be 10 PR working with Stylustonline.com as they were also founded on the 10.10.10, what a small world indeed. The collections they stock are fantastic and we really are lovers of Stylust here at 10.
Our most recent exciting installment was our appoitnment (wow that sounds so official, I love it!) as the UK Fashion PR for Boxfresh who after most recently sponsoring the NME awards have trumped that card with some even more exciting stuff coming up for May… Oh I wish I could tell you more… Watch this space!
